With open arms, it creates a space where everyone feels valued, accepted, and supported in their growth and friendships. Built on a foundation of openness, encouragement, and mutual respect, the Social Hub is here to uplift and empower every Champ.
Once a week, join Darius' Tale Outdoor Book Club, hosted by Darius and facilitated by volunteers. Participants can read or showcase their favorite books, poem in a welcoming outdoor setting. This book club not only provides a platform for sharing and discovering new books but also offers a chance to learn leadership skills in a supportive community environment.
Our cooking classes go beyond teaching life skills—they offer a unique experience where you’ll also build a foundation of vocabulary, the basis of language and communication. Each session adds to your fund of knowledge, equipping you with words and concepts that can enrich your everyday life. Together, we explore recipes from around the world, delving into the rich cultures behind each dish. At the end of each session, you’ll leave with food you’ve prepared, a deeper understanding of its origin, and practical language skills.
Our recipes are autism-friendly, free of gluten, soy, and casein, making it possible for everyone to enjoy a healthy meal together. You’re also encouraged to suggest recipes for future sessions, allowing us to explore cuisines that excite and inspire you. Our classes celebrate the love, care, and joy of cooking, eating, and sharing, bringing people together around diverse culinary traditions.
